Cordy-Gen® incorporates an incredible mushroom called Cordyceps sinensis that we have been successfully culturing for more than 20 years. Our strain was collected above 12,000 feet in the Himilayas in Nepal. It can only be found for a short time each summer, growing out of its natural host: a caterpillar! We, of course, do not grow this mushroom from caterpillars; instead we use a whole grain substrate. It has taken us many years of meticulous research and development to modify this mushroom’s natural substrate. This exclusive mushroom, which was at one time prohibitively expensive, is now affordable to all.
